Collective participation in culture and the Aveiro 2024 strategy in this field are the motto for a conference dedicated to reflecting on the role of culture in the formation of communities and social inclusion.
A session that addresses the notion of community and the way it is intuited in each of us, generating a dynamic that brings us closer together, leading us to work together and define a common meaning for the future. It is something internal, like a magnetic force that manifests itself but cannot be seen. It leads us to carry out tasks in collaboration, but also to divide territories, as it leads to the establishment of borders and differences. It is about these forces, hidden and manifest, that we will discuss and dialogue, with everyone's participation.
